Now before you go reaching for that green eyeshadow and red lipstick, I have a couple cute holiday ideas that will surely bring you at the center of attention at you next holiday gathering. Last New Year's Eve, I went a little out of my comfort zone and decided to go with a nude eye and a red lip.
This year, the berry lip is all the rage. A nice plum color lip coupled with a nude eye is being seen all over the red carpet this fall.
Here are some suggested products for this look:
For the berry lip try 48 by Makeup Forever
For the lid color try a soft shimmery toupee color like Chopper by Urban Decay
For the crease add a little dark brown for dimension, such as Corduroy by MAC
A slightly rosey cheek will add the finishing touches for look, I would use Douceur by NARS
